V Shape plants - Orchards Plants

This type of culture was born to increase the plant’s density keeping a single raw system, it has also the advantage to reach in advance the full production capacity. On the other hand it needs supporting structures which are more expensive and it needs more labour concerning every cultural processing.
The V shape is obtained by tilting alternately the trees towards the interrow with a 20° angle in comparison to the ground’s perpendicular.
The plants must be at least two mt high and the upper opening must be at least one meter, this guarantee a good light even in the inside part. If correctly made you obtain a perfect light distribution inside the foliage and this determines the production of fruits with a high quality. It is particularly suitable for pear-trees.
