Y Shape plants - Orchards Plants

In this type of culture each plant has two branches which started from the tree trunk, these branches are tilted one against the other towards the interrow direction.
The angle of inclination is about 40°.  Also in this case the opening in the upper part of the tree must be so wide to allow the suitable light passing. Having an external view of the plant, it appears to have a V shape as we always have a double sides placed on two sloping levels and as the V shape plant, the Y shape plant has the same disadvantages concerning the plant’s costs and labour. The quality of the fruits is very high and it has a quite good production.
