Zeus

Zeus post is the flagship product in Comavit’s offering, resulting from accurate studies on the torsional and flexural resistance of open steel sections. Its refined shape and longitudinal ribs ensure excellent mechanical performance, both in torsion, which is crucial during installation, and in flexion to counteract the effects of wind and vegetative weight. Furthermore, the 45 mm side section limits lateral soil settling phenomena while simultaneously enhancing the stability of the vine row under full load. Laboratory tests have demonstrated superior strength, exceeding 120 kilograms of force, for the 1.8 mm thick model with force applied at a distance of 170 cm from the fulcrum. The Zeus post is widely used in regions where yields reach up to 40 tons per hectare. In markets particularly price sensitive, it can also be employed as an end post.
